KARUPOT

"The Journey of KaruPot"

Back in 2018, while I was doing my undergraduate at Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET), I started something special called "KaruPot." It's an online shop where I sell art and craft stuff. But it's more than just a business; it's a way for me to share the beauty and traditions of my home country, Bangladesh.

At KaruPot, I work on many different things, from making unique jewellery that tells stories about our culture to crafting beautiful home decorations that bring a touch of our heritage into people's lives. Each item has a piece of Bangladesh in it.

Besides my regular studies, running Karupot has taught me a ton about how businesses work. I've learned what people like, how markets change, and how to keep going even when things get tough. It's been quite a journey!

But KaruPot has been like a breath of fresh air for my mind. It's helped me relax and clear my thoughts while doing something I love. And most importantly, it's shown me what truly makes me happy and where my interests lie.

Hand Painted Muslin Sharee and Scarfs

Muslin sarees are 6 yards long timeless tradition in Bangladesh, adorning women with elegance and grace. I have the privilege of enhancing their beauty through the intricate art of hand-painting. Each piece is a labor of love, requiring several hours of meticulous craftsmanship to create a masterpiece that reflects the rich cultural heritage of Bangladesh.
