I've always had a strong interest in co-curricular activities, and I've actively participated in a variety of extracurricular pursuits such as leadership activities and voluntary activities throughout my life. These experiences have contributed significantly to my personal growth and development, ultimately shaping me into a better individual in the long run.

Leadership & Voluntary Activities

2020-2022

President- Shore-O Reciting Organization, Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET)

This organization is a recitation club focused on enhancing communication, leadership, coordination, and creative thinking skills. Members practice reading, speaking, memorization, and pronunciation, even learning new languages. Reciting poetry allows students to express emotions and connect with their audience effectively.

Responsibilities:

Supervised a team of 30 members for a national reciting competition
Collaborated with 22 reciting organizations nationally for Bangladesh reciting synthesis organization
Mentored the members for divisional competitions along with 15 intra-university program

Creative Lead- ECO360, a non-profit organization

Eco360 is a bilingual (Bangla and English) mobile application that keeps a record of its users’ plastic consumption and spontaneously contributes to aligning with UN’s SDG-12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) and SDG-13 (Climate Action).

Responsibilities:

Engaged in content writing and designing for different competitions
Prepared slides and presentations to participate in competitions in order to introduce our app to general people
coordinated with stakeholders, communicated with other team members, and contacted developers for the updating of the app.

Secretary Cultural Affairs- URP Association, Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET)

URP Association is a highly trusted organization for urban and regional planning students. They organize various events like URP night, Plannation, Reception, and welfare programs for students and teachers. They also have a helpful alumni network. It's a fantastic association with enthusiastic members.

Responsibilities:

Communicated with a wide variety of staff and office personnel during different cultural programs
Consulted with parents and pioneered a new system for managing their inquiries
Interacted with professionals, instructed, and performed work division among 200 members of the URP night program

2019- Present

Co-Founder- Karushala, an educational institution for underprivileged children facilitated by the BRAC youth platform

The program offered by Amra Notun Changemakers by BRAC is a three-month long program that begins with a classroom training phase that lasts for one month and is followed by a community action project phase that lasts for two months and we trained the underprivileged children there.

Responsibilities:

Facilitated 20 underprivileged children with basic health and primary education, designed and implemented a creative art and basic education curriculum, and provided technical education to make them self-dependent.
Coordinating with the stakeholders and communicating with the other 4 members of the team

Entrepreneur- KaruPot, an online art and craft store. Focused on wide variety of products maintaining traditional ethics with a 4.5 rating and excellent customer satisfaction

Maintained customers from overseas (40%) and within country(60%), delivering unique and authentic items with preferred time
Developed and executed financial solutions that increased revenue 10% over three years. improved processes and negotiated with suppliers to cut expenses by 25%.

Responsibilities:

Developed a comprehensive event plan for Dance Fest Program.
Created a schedule for performances and rehearsals
Managed registrations for performers, ensuring all necessary information is collected

Organized several programs such as Varsity day, Independence Day, Mother language day
Managed performers and Collaborated with local media.

Member cultural committee- Rokeya Hall (KUET)

Coordinated with performers for different cultural programs
Organized Rokeya Day, University day, Bangali new year, farewell and reception events.

Volunteered my peers during the time of COVID-19 for getting financial aid from Urban and Regional Planning Department.
